Since 2018, the Financial Keys Investment Committee (led by Brendan and Matt) has been working with Genium Investment Consultants (formerly Insight Investment Consultants) led by Chris Lioutas and Tim Murphy. We have really enjoyed working with Chris and Tim during this period as they were able to add their expertise and knowledge to the Investment Committee and assist with the ongoing management of the Financial Keys Managed Models and other investments.
Earlier this year, we conducted a review of the leading investment consultants in Australia who are working with financial advisory firms such as ours. At the conclusion of this process and in order to remain at the forefront of portfolio management, we decided to appoint Evidentia Group to the Financial Keys Investment Committee, replacing Genium. We felt that the depth and breadth of the Evidentia group provides a better match for the needs of the Financial Keys Investment Committee and our clients.
As part of this change, we decided that Evidentia will replace Financial Keys as the model manager, in order to execute any investment changes that the Financial Keys Investment Committee decides as this is aligned with industry best practice.
Due to the size of Financial Keys, we have negotiated a discounted fee with Evidentia (0.11% of managed model) which is more than offset by the fund manager discounts negotiated by Evidentia.
You’ll soon receive a letter from Netwealth confirming this update. No action is required from you, and there will be no changes or disruption to the way your portfolios are managed.
This is an evolutionary enhancement—not a fundamental change. It builds upon the strong foundation already in place and ensures our approach remains market-leading, disciplined, and forward-thinking.
